Corrosion-resistant pipes, also known as coated steel pipes, are steel pipes that have undergone anti-corrosion processing to effectively prevent or slow down the corrosion phenomenon caused by chemical or electrochemical reactions during transportation and use. According to our national statistics, the direct economic loss from steel pipe corrosion in China is over 280 billion yuan per year, and the global loss due to steel pipe corrosion reaches up to 5 trillion US dollars annually. Corrosion-resistant pipes can effectively prevent or mitigate corrosion. IPN8710 Corrosion-Resistant In cases where the internal corrosion medium in steel pipes is diverse, such as acids, alkalis, salts, oxidizers, and steam, the coating must be chemically inert, resistant to acid, alkali, and salt corrosion. The film should be dense in structure, have good water resistance, strong adhesion, and be tough and full. IPN8710 anti-corrosion is suitable for such conditions. IPN8710 Anticorrosive Undercoat: Composed of polyurethane polyethylene, modified epoxy resin, non-toxic rust-proof pigments, additives, etc., it cures at room temperature to form an interpenetrating network, resulting in a dense film structure that is resistant to acids, alkalis, and salts. It boasts excellent rust prevention properties and strong adhesion, suitable for anticorrosive priming coatings on the inner walls of water supply pipelines. IPN8710 Corrosion-Resistant Paint: Composed of epoxy, rubber resin modified, non-toxic rust-inhibiting pigments, additives, etc. Excellent chemical resistance, non-toxic, resistant to microbial侵蚀, suitable for internal lining corrosion protection of water supply pipelines. FBE Epoxy Powder Coating FBE Epoxy Powder Coating Structure: Utilizes electrostatic spraying technology to apply epoxy powder to the surface of steel pipes, forming a single-layer coating in one application. This coating offers advantages such as easy application, non-polluting, excellent impact and bending resistance, and high temperature resistance. 2PE/3PE Corrosion Protection 2PE/3PE Corrosion Protection Structure: Electrostatic powder coating of epoxy powder on the surface of steel pipes, followed by lateral wrapping of adhesive and laterally wrapping the polyethylene corrosion-resistant layer. This combination of the three superior properties significantly enhances the overall quality of the corrosion-resistant pipeline. It features resistance to chemical corrosion, resistance to adhesion peel, and resistance to mechanical damage. Epoxy coal tar paint for corrosion protection Epoxy coal tar paint coating structure: A corrosion-resistant paint made from epoxy resin, coal tar pitch, and fillers, reinforced with glass cloth on the surface of steel pipes to form a protective layer, commonly used for the external wall corrosion protection of pipelines. The thickness is generally 0.5-1.0mm. High-density polyethylene sheath anti-corrosion High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Coated Corrosion-Resistant Structure: The structure is made by wrapping high-density polyethylene material over the outer surface of steel pipes, offering excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, thereby protecting the steel pipes from damage caused by external factors during transportation, installation, and use. Antioxidants, UV stabilizers, and carbon black should be added during the manufacturing of the coated pipes. HDPE coated pipes are prone to aging; hence, when stored outdoors, they should be covered with tarpaulins or similar materials. The storage area should be kept away from high heat and fire sources. After the anti-corrosion steel pipes are manufactured, they should not be exposed to direct sunlight or sudden temperature changes, as this can cause the HDPE coated pipes to crack, affecting product performance and lifespan. Corrosion Prevention Standards FBE epoxy powder coating complies with SY/T0315-1997 "Technical Standard for Fusion Bonded Epoxy Powder Coating on Steel Pipeline" 2PE/3PE Corrosion Resistance in Compliance with SY/T0413-2002 "Technical Standard for Polyethylene Coating on Buried Steel Pipe" Corrosion Inhibition Surface Rust Removal Standard: Steel pipe external surface sandblasting rust removal should meet the requirements of GB/T8923-1988 to Sa2 1/2 grade, with the anchor pattern depth on the steel pipe surface being between 40-100μm. Application Corrosion-resistant pipes are primarily used in China for pipeline projects in the oil, chemical, natural gas, thermal power, wastewater treatment, water supply, bridge, and steel structure fields.
