Principle Overview:
The basic testing principle of the ED0602 digital millisecond timer is: the measured signal is attenuated, limited, amplified, and shaped through the input channel to control the opening and closing of the main gate. Within the measured time, the counter counts the internal time standard, thereby displaying the measured time value.
Use Instructions:
1. When testing electrical signals, the amplitude must be within the range of 5-50V (P-P). Connect the red clip of the test cable to the signal terminal being measured, and the black clip to the ground terminal (zero potential) of the signal. During frequency measurement, the signal peak should be ≤50V.
2. When testing the open circuit signal, there must be no voltage present at the two ends of the tested contact. The black and red clips of the test cable can be arbitrarily clamped at either end of the tested contact.
3. The signal to be tested must be a single event.
4. During dual-channel testing, the "open contact" position is active whether the contacts are closed or open; identification is not required.
5. During dual-channel testing, the next test signal input can automatically reset, but it can also be manually reset by the operator.
6. When testing the relay's operating time, it is not advisable to use a parallel test clip on the relay coil as the power signal to start the meter (due to inductance). 1. Positive pulse width test
Set the function selection switch (K1) to the "Positive Pulse Width" position, and the signal to be measured can be input from the "A" socket for measurement. (The test electrical pulse must be a single signal; continuous electrical pulses will be accumulated.)
2. Negative polarity pulse width test
Place the function selection switch (K1) on the "Negative Pulse Width" position, and the signal to be measured can be input from the (A) socket for measurement. (The test electrical pulse must be a single signal; continuous pulses will accumulate.)
3. Open Contact Closure Time Test
Set the function selection switch (K1) to the "Empty Contact Closed" position, then test by clamping the red and black clamps of the cable at both ends of the test contact, and the test signal can be input from the (A) socket for testing.
