The ED0618 Battery Early Warning Online Monitoring System is an online battery monitoring and automatic maintenance system designed to meet the needs of UPS, EPS, DC power supplies, communication power supplies, and other systems. It can perform monitoring and alarm functions for battery group voltage, battery current, individual battery voltage, individual battery internal resistance, battery environmental temperature, negative electrode temperature of battery cells, battery voltage balance, remaining capacity, and discharge duration. It can automatically balance the voltage of the battery pack. It is used for online monitoring of 2V, 6V, and 12V batteries.

ED0618-4 Battery Internal Resistance Temperature Module



The ED0618-4 Battery Internal Resistance Temperature Module is designed for the operation mechanism and failure modes of lead-acid batteries. It is a comprehensive intelligent battery internal resistance module integrating various functions, capable of accurately measuring the internal resistance, temperature, and voltage of individual battery cells. It can be operated via serial communication protocols, enabling continuous monitoring of the battery. Each analysis module provides 2 power terminals, connecting to the positive and negative poles of the battery cell, and each module offers 2 communication ports, which can be cascaded to form an S-BUS bus chain or loop. For a set of batteries, a corresponding set of modules is required, and the communication ports of these modules should be cascaded to form an S-BUS bus. This bus can then be connected to the monitoring module EISU/SISU via the RS485 interface. Each analysis module can collect the following parameters from individual battery cells: battery cell voltage, capable of monitoring 2V, 6V, and 12V cells; battery cell temperature, ensuring a good working environment for the battery pack; battery impedance, effectively monitoring battery capacity, working capability, and battery pack capacity analysis.

The ED0618-5 monitoring host can categorize and store various data and alarm process data separately, facilitating data retrieval and analysis. The storage space can potentially hold over 30 days of monitoring data.

(1) Real-time Monitoring - Detailed Data: This interface displays data in a tabular format, which can be exported and edited in Excel. The parameters shown include: group pressure, individual cell voltage sequence from highest to lowest, individual cell highest internal resistance sequence, current, ambient temperature, and a list showing the voltage and internal resistance values of each battery section.

(2) Real-time Monitoring - Internal Resistance Bar Chart: This interface displays the data in the form of a bar chart. When the internal resistance of a battery section exceeds the threshold, the entire bar turns red. Moving the mouse over each bar will show the serial number and internal resistance value of that single battery section.

(3) Real-time Monitoring - Voltage Bar Chart: This interface displays the voltage in a bar chart format. When the voltage of a battery cell exceeds the upper and lower threshold values, the entire bar turns red; hovering the mouse over each bar will show the serial number and voltage value of the individual battery cell.

(4) Monthly Report – Automatically generates a monthly report, integrating the experience values of domestic and international experts and years of experience in battery internal resistance testing. Automatically analyzes and prompts which batteries require activation or replacement.

(5) Internal Resistance History Record – Historical data can be traced back to nearly 5-10 years (determined by the size of the hardware records).
