The EDSZ-5 automatic fatty acid value analyzer utilizes full automatic digital microcomputer control. It is based on the acid-base neutralization reaction in chemical analysis, complemented by self-developed background blank subtraction and titration endpoint logic determination programs, ensuring ideal precision and accuracy in measurements.

Transformer and steam turbine oil acid value testing is a routine inspection item for power systems and industrial and mining enterprises' oil-filled electrical equipment. The EDSZ-5 automatic oil acid value tester is a specialized device developed by Hubei Electric Power for the acid value measurement of the aforementioned oil products. The instrument is based on a single-chip microcomputer and integrates multiple disciplines such as optics, mechanics, electronics, and chemistry. It basically replaces manual operations, thereby enhancing work efficiency and reducing the labor intensity for operators, while significantly minimizing the harm to the human body from organic solvents and other chemicals.

Product Features

The EDSZ-5 Automatic Saponification Value Tester employs the neutralization method principle, and under normal temperature conditions, it automatically completes the addition of liquid, stirring, titration, and endpoint judgment with microcomputer control. All working parameters are selected using a touch-screen LCD, with a simple and user-friendly man-machine dialogue interface, making operation convenient. The average analysis cycle for oil samples is about 2 minutes. It can display up to 35 sets of measurement results and can print out multiple parameters related to the measurement.

The extract and neutralizing liquids are stored in customized bottles. The extract is kept in glass containers to ensure no plastic additives contaminate it. The neutralizing liquid is chosen in polyethylene plastic bottles, completely avoiding any reaction with potassium hydroxide. Moreover, a self-developed neutralizing liquid balance gas-solid purification unit is utilized, which completely eliminates the influence of carbon dioxide and water vapor on the concentration of the neutralizing liquid, and prevents any accidents where high-concentration potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide purification solutions are mistakenly used as titration standards. During operation, the user does not need to come into contact with organic solvents by hand, reducing the harm of chemical substances to the human body.
