The XFH-JKX overhead line small current grounding fault locator is designed for overhead lines in small current grounding systems. It can accurately locate the grounding point after a single-phase grounding fault has caused the line to be out of service.
The XFH-JKX is a portable device for fault location on multiple lines. The complete set consists of a transmitter (XFH-FS), sensors (XFH-CG), a receiver (XFH-JS), and accessories. After a fault line is shut down, the transmitter applies ultra-low-frequency high-voltage signals to the line to reproduce the fault. Sensors are hung on the line using insulating rods along the route to detect signals, and data is transmitted to the ground receiver wirelessly. The receiver then displays the measurement results. Before the fault point, current is continuous; after the fault point, current disappears. Fault location can be initially roughed out and then pinpointed precisely, allowing for quick determination of the fault position.
Feature Highlights
For distribution networks with small current grounding systems, the technology detects various faults, including single-phase metallic grounding, arc grounding, and grounding through a transfer resistance on overhead lines.
2. Positioning post-outage, especially suitable for fault lines with cable branches.
3. Applying high-voltage signals to reproduce the fault, the current signals are stable and easy to detect.
4. Ultra-low frequency signals avoid the impact of system distributed capacitance, enabling the localization of high resistance faults.
5. Transmitter Safety Features: High-voltage start interlock function, direct short-circuit output permitted.
6. Equipped with high-sensitivity sensors, the open design allows for effortless connection without the need for closure, facilitating easy installation on the line.
7. Wireless communication transmission between sensors and receivers is secure and reliable.
The transmitter can be powered by municipal electricity or generators, while the sensors and receiver are powered by dry batteries.
9. The transmitter is compact and lightweight; the sensors are designed for miniaturization in size and weight, facilitating easy attachment along the route; the receiver is handheld.
The receiver features a large LCD screen displaying sensor status, current waveforms, and current values.
