I. Overview
The EDWG-16B type single-phase grounding fault locator for distribution network lines is suitable for overhead lines in low-current grounding systems. After a single-phase grounding fault occurs and the line is shut down, this device can accurately locate the grounding point.
The EDWG-16B Type Distribution Network Line Single Phase Ground Fault Locating Device is a portable unit capable of locating faults on multiple lines. The complete set consists of a transmitter (EDWG-16B model), a sensor (EDWG-16B1 model), a receiver (EDWG-16B2 model), and accessories. After the faulty line is shut down, the transmitter applies a super-low-frequency high-voltage signal to the line to reproduce the fault. Sensors are hung on the line along the route using insulating rods to detect signals, and data is transmitted to the ground receiver wirelessly. The receiver displays the measurement results. Before the fault point, current continues to exist; after the fault point, current disappears. Fault location can be initially segmented roughly and then pinpointed precisely, thereby quickly determining the fault position.

II. Features
Unearthed Line Single-Phase Metallic接地 detection for Low Current Grounding System Distribution Networks
Ground faults, arc接地, and through-resistance grounding, among other failures.
定位 post-outage, especially suitable for fault lines with cable branches.
Applying high-voltage signals to replicate faults, the current signals are stable and easy to detect.
The ultra-low frequency signal avoids the impact of system distributed capacitance, enabling precise location of high resistance faults.
Utilizing high-sensitivity sensors.
Sensor and receiver wireless communication transmission is secure and reliable.
Transmitters can be powered by city electricity or generators, while sensors and receivers are powered by dry batteries.
Transmitter is compact and lightweight; sensors are designed for miniaturization in size and weight, convenient for installation.
Wired connection; the receiver is designed in a handheld style.
The receiver features a large LCD screen, displaying frequency and current values.
