The screw press dewatering machine follows principles such as water and force in the same direction, thin-layer dewatering, appropriate pressure application, and extended dewatering path, resolving technical challenges like clogging in previous generation dewatering equipment, inability to process low-concentration sludge and oil-containing sludge, high energy consumption, and complex operation. It achieves the goal of efficient and energy-saving dewatering. The machine can perform efficient flocculation under fully automatic operation, continuously complete sludge concentration and squeezing dewatering tasks, and finally recycle or discharge the collected filtrate. It is widely used in municipal wastewater treatment projects and water treatment systems in industries such as food, starch, oil, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, papermaking, and leather.

 


 

Structural Principles

The Screw Press Sludge Dewatering Machine integrates an automatic control cabinet, a flocculation and conditioning tank, the main body of sludge thickening and dewatering, and a collection tank. The main body consists of fixed rings and floating rings stacked on top of each other, with a spiral shaft running through to form a filtration device. The front section is the thickening section, and the rear section is the dewatering section. The filter gap formed between the fixed and floating rings, as well as the pitch of the spiral shaft, gradually decreases from the thickening section to the dewatering section. The spiral shaft continuously drives the rings to sweep the filter gap, preventing clogging. As the spiral shaft rotates, it pushes the sludge from the thickening section to the dewatering section, while the back pressure plate blocks, creating a significant internal pressure. The volume continually shrinks to achieve thorough dewatering.
