Screw Press Sludge Dewatering Machine Working Principle

1. Concentration: As the spiral drive shaft rotates, the multiple fixed and movable slabs around the drive shaft move relatively. Under the action of gravity, water is filtered out through the gaps between the moving slabs, achieving rapid concentration.

2. Dewatering: The thickened sludge moves forward continuously as the spiral shaft rotates; along the direction of the sludge cake outlet, the pitch of the spiral shaft gradually decreases, and the gap between the coils also narrows, causing the volume of the spiral cavity to shrink; under the action of the back pressure plate at the outlet, the internal pressure gradually increases. With the sequential and continuous operation of the spiral drive shaft, the moisture in the sludge is compressed and expelled.

The solid content in the cake continues to increase, ultimately achieving continuous dewatering of sludge.

3. Self-cleaning: The rotation of the spiral shaft drives the moving ring to continuously rotate, enabling the equipment to achieve a continuous self-cleaning process through the movement between the fixed and moving rings, thereby ingeniously avoiding the clogging issue commonly found in traditional centrifugal dryers.
