Polyethylene double-sided adhesive corrosion-resistant inner tape is a new member of the corrosion-resistant tape system. It is a strip-like corrosion-resistant material made by high-performance polyethylene film as the base material, with both sides simultaneously hot melt bonded with high-performance corrosion-resistant butyl rubber. It can be applied by cold wrapping and is mainly used for the external surface corrosion protection of buried steel pipelines for water supply, drainage, and gas transmission in the oil, chemical, and urban construction industries. It features easy installation and no pollution, making it one of the preferred corrosion protection systems for pipeline external corrosion. This product adheres to the standard SY/T 0414-2007. This type of corrosion-resistant inner tape overcomes the drawback of poor adhesion of ordinary corrosion-resistant inner tape to the outer tape. It allows the outer tape to be tightly bonded to the inner tape through the high-performance corrosion-resistant butyl rubber on the inner tape, so that even under severe tension, the outer tape will not separate from the inner tape. This gives the outer tape dual functions of protection and corrosion resistance, significantly enhancing the corrosion protection effect.
