I. Product Introduction

1. This powered air-purifying respirator operates in a positive pressure mode, ensuring that the internal pressure of the mask or hood and breathing tube, among other components, remains above atmospheric pressure throughout any breathing cycle. It relies on an electrically-powered airflow to overcome component resistance. It requires the use of a protective face seal mask that fits tightly against the wearer's facial skin to isolate the respiratory tract from ambient air.

Wearing a maskWear the mask from the chin upwards, then adjust the head strap as needed. After wearing the mask, block the air intake with your palm and take a deep breath. If the mask fits tightly to the face without any air leaks, it indicates the mask is airtight and you can enter the contaminated area for work. After use, wipe away all sweat and dirt from the mask, particularly the lenses and the exhale and inhale valves, keeping them clean. You may rinse the mask area with water if necessary. If used in an environment with contagious viruses, the mask and filter can be wiped and cleaned with a 1% peracetic acid solution for disinfection. If needed, the mask can be soaked in a 1% peracetic acid solution, but the filter can't be soaked to prevent water damage. After disinfection with the solution, wipe the mask with clean water, let it dry, and then reuse it.
