Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Grating
The product is a finished item, meticulously processed from a base plate made by welding load flat steel and cross rods at certain intervals, followed by deep processing steps such as cutting, notching, punching holes, and edging to meet the customer's specifications.
Hot-dip galvanized steel grating is available in the following types:
1. Hot-dip galvanized steel grating, categorized by manufacturing process, includes press-welded hot-dip galvanized steel grating and press-locked hot-dip galvanized steel grating.
2. Hot-dipped galvanized steel grating divided by surface shape into toothed hot-dipped galvanized steel grating and flat type hot-dipped galvanized steel grating.
3. Type I hot-dip galvanized steel grating and composite hot-dip galvanized steel grating.
Identification Method:
(1) Hot-dip galvanized steel grating flat steel spacing: differentiated by series: Series 1 is 30mm; Series 2 is 40mm; Series 3 is 60mm.
(2) Hot-dip galvanized steel grating crossbar spacing: Series 1 is 100mm, Series 2 is 50mm. Other specifications are available for customization.
(3) Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Grating Flat Bar: Made of Q23 steel or stainless steel, available in plain, anti-slip toothed, and I-section designs. Common sizes include 20*5, 25*5, 25*3, 32*5, 32*5, 40*5, 40*3, 50*5, 65*5, 75*6, 100*8, and 100*10.
(4) Hot-Dipped Galvanized Steel Grating Crossbars: Round steel, twisted square steel, square steel, or hexagonal steel made of Q23 or 304 stainless steel. Twisted square steel is produced by drawing through square dies from round wire and then twisting it, with common sizes including 5*5, 6*6, 8*8mm, etc.
Features include: High strength, lightweight structure: The sturdy grid welding structure offers high load-bearing capacity, light structure, and ease of hoisting; aesthetically pleasing, durable in use.
Hot-dip galvanized steel grating applications: Widely used in platforms, walkways, gangways, manholes, covers, ladders, fences, and railings in fields such as petrochemical, power plants, water plants, sewage treatment plants, municipal engineering, and environmental sanitation engineering.
Stainless Steel Grating
Also known as stainless steel grating panels. There are usually two methods of production: combining and welding stainless steel flat bars and round bars; or interlocking stainless steel flat bars. They possess strong corrosion resistance, a neat appearance, and an ideal decorative effect, but are generally priced higher.
Stainless steel grating classification:
It can be categorized into flat, toothed, and I-shaped types, with over 200 specifications and varieties (the surface can be protected differently according to different usage environments).
Material: Typically, stainless steel grades 304, 316, 316L are used.
Manufacturing Method:
There are two types: machine pressed welding and handcrafted. Machine pressed welding uses a high-voltage resistance welding machine, where the robot arm automatically places the crossbar across uniformly arranged flat steel bars, welding it securely into the flat steel using strong welding power and hydraulic pressure, resulting in high-quality steel grating with strong weld points, high stability, and strength. Handcrafted steel grating involves first punching holes in the flat steel, then inserting the crossbar and spot welding it into place. There is a gap between the crossbar and flat steel, but every contact point is welded, achieving an equivalent melting connection between the flat steel and twisted steel, thus making the weld more solid and the strength slightly improved. However, the appearance is not as aesthetically pleasing as that of the machine pressed welding.
Surface Treatment:
After pickling and passivation, the surface appears as a matte gray-white.
b. Electrochemical polishing results in a brighter surface with higher luster.
c. The finished products are heat treated and polished, followed by electrochemical polishing, and then chrome plated to achieve a mirror-like finish.
Advantages:
Lightweight, high strength, large load-bearing capacity, material-saving and economical, ventilated and light-transmitting, modern style, aesthetically pleasing, anti-slip and safe, easy to clean, simple installation, durable.
Application:
Stainless steel grating panels are widely used in power plants, chemical factories, oil refineries, steel mills, machinery manufacturing plants, shipyards, paper mills, cement factories, food processing plants, and bridge engineering, municipal engineering projects, and wastewater treatment facilities where corrosion resistance is critical. The selection of stainless steel grating panels is similar to that of carbon steel grating panels. Due to their unique properties, stainless steel grating panels are extensively applied in various factories both domestically and internationally.
