Intelligent Waste Rooms represent a new approach to waste management, effectively reducing waste generation while conserving energy. These rooms sort waste for recycling, minimizing environmental impact.
Intelligent waste rooms are typically equipped with sensor doors that automatically open when someone approaches. Inside, there are five bins of different colors: yellow, blue, green, red, and black. The yellow bin is for recyclables; the blue bin is for kitchen waste; the green bin is for dry waste; the red bin is for hazardous waste; and the black bin is for other waste.
Secondly, the interior of the smart waste bin often features a "sorting platform" that clearly indicates how to dispose of different types of waste, along with detailed image instructions. This makes it easy for users to differentiate between various waste categories and place them into the appropriate bins.
Additionally, smart waste rooms are often equipped with a "sensing device" that can detect what people are about to discard and categorize it accordingly. For instance, if the sensor detects kitchen waste, it activates the corresponding "food bin"; if it detects dry waste, it opens the appropriate "dry waste bin." Of course, the sensor can also be adjusted and learned based on the user's habits.
