Vacuum furnaces maintain the temperature of crude oil at a consistent level during processing, storage, and transportation, preventing condensation. According to regulations for heating crude oil in pipelines, the temperature should not exceed the initial boiling point. The rise in crude oil heating temperature is minimal, typically only 40 to 50°C, as any greater increase can easily alter the oil, compromising petroleum production. For the production of oil under thermal load conditions, it is necessary to increase crude oil flow. Therefore, the heating furnace operates at a slight temperature rise and works with flow rate. This requires the capacity of a large liquid processing system and the continuous heating capability of the furnace.
