Although the grouting tube grouting technology is gradually maturing, many various issues can still arise during the specific operation process. In the past, the editor introduced some operation methods for grouting tube grouting. This time, we will discuss some common problem-solving approaches during the grouting tube grouting construction process.
One. Ground Effluent Overflow
During the grouting process in the grouting pipe, if the grout from the underground grouting pipe bursts to the surface, one must be mentally prepared for the possibility. There are many potential causes, such as the pressure from the grouting machine, geological characteristics of the strata, quality of the grouting pipe, or issues with worker operation. Each of these situations requires individual inspection and testing. Common methods include:
1. Check if the pressure of the grouting machine is too high; if so, adjust it promptly. Increase the concentration of the slurry in the grouting tube or switch to intermittent grouting method.
2. To check for stratigraphic geological issues, adjust the unit's slurry intake to no more than 301 Anin or 401 Anin, or even smaller.
3. Inspect the outlet of the grouting tube for any quality issues with the one-way valve; if any issues are found, replace it promptly.
4. Observe the construction workers' operational process to identify any issues.
Section II: Drilling and Grouting
During the grouting process with grouting pipes, if you notice that the drilling nearby the grouting area is experiencing cross-grouting, it's essential to inspect the geological conditions of the grouting region. Cross-grouting typically occurs in porous and fractured, soft geological formations. When the pressure within the grouting pipe is excessive, it can lead to the leakage of grout.
Approaches for handling include:
Check the spacing of the drilled holes and consider increasing the spacing between sequential holes as needed.
2. Check for any issues with excessive pressure in the grouting tube. If present, methods such as pressure relief grouting, thickening the slurry, and intermittent construction can be employed.
3. Review the construction schedule for rationality, adjust the density between sequential hole construction periods; avoid grouting in the same elevation boreholes for adjacent holes of the same sequence.
4. Verify if the slurry holes are to be filled, and treat them by using a simultaneous parallel grouting method. If the slurry holes are being drilled, stop drilling and seal the hole openings, then resume drilling after the grouting is completed.
During the grouting process of grouting pipes, there are actually many potential issues that may arise. The aforementioned solutions are for the most common problems, but the methods and approaches are generally similar. Analyzing and identifying solutions from geological, construction, equipment, and personnel perspectives is crucial. Remaining calm when encountering problems, conducting reasonable analysis, and resolving issues promptly is what truly matters.
