Production Process of the Shovel齿 Radiator

 Rake-fin radiatorThe radiator is crafted using the shovel-tooth technology, which is commonly employed for dissipating heat in high-power machinery due to its one-time molding feature, preserving the heat dissipation properties of the material, and achieving the original heat dissipation performance. Additionally, it boasts large size and high-power characteristics, making it widely used in high-power motor applications. For instance, Wenxuan Thermal Energy, with its independently developed high-power shovel-tooth radiator technology, is frequently utilized in large heat-dissipating devices such as photovoltaic inverters, wind power converters, electric vehicle controllers, and power battery packs.


  Shovel Tooth RadiatorThe production requires a mature tooth cutting production process, as well as advanced large-scale tooth cutting machine tools, and the technical collaboration of engineers. The specific production process is:
(1) Customize the profiles to fit the design dimensions and then place them on the shaper machine bed according to the correct operation method.
(2) Set the parameters for the cutter tooth machine, input the required cutter tooth data, such as tooth spacing, tooth height, tooth thickness, etc.
(3) Operators engage the milling machine, engineers monitor the machine, inspect the semi-finished products to ensure they meet data requirements, and adjust as necessary for any anomalies.
(4) Cut semi-finished gear blanks to the designed dimensions.
(5) Process the cut semi-finished products, including deburring and threading.
(6) If the design drawings include a buried heat pipe design, additional processing such as slotting, pipe pressing, and epoxy resin welding on the back of the scraper radiator is required.
(7) The entire production process is completed with the packaging of the finished gear-type radiator.

    Tapered radiatorThe application of the technology will become more widespread. The toothed design can be combined with other heat dissipation techniques, such as the heat pipe technology mentioned earlier, as well as water cooling plate technology, microchannel technology, and more. By creating heat sinks in various shapes and sizes tailored to different motor characteristics, different processes can enhance the performance of the heat sinks while reducing costs. The toothed design has relatively low material requirements and can be made from aluminum or copper profiles.
