Low operating pressure: Operating pressure can lower the boiling point of substances, down to 10-3 mbar (0.1 Pa)

German VTA Company is a specialized firm engaged in the development of thermal separation process technology, system design, film evaporation, and short-path distillation equipment manufacturing, with a vast customer base. Leveraging its extensive experience in process development, design, and equipment manufacturing, VTA offers experimental equipment for film evaporation and short-path distillation of small batch products, pilot plants, as well as the design and manufacture of industrial production equipment. Backed by the group's robust equipment manufacturing capabilities and adhering to Germany's excellent processing and manufacturing standards, VTA's products meet the high quality demands of its customers.
VTA Company strongly emphasizes teamwork. The completion of a distillation unit often requires collaborative efforts from the process development department, mechanical design department, electrical automation department, and equipment assembly department. It is due to this synergy that VTA can deliver highly integrated turnkey units to customers, ensuring quality while guaranteeing process performance and providing durable equipment, reflecting VTA's core competitiveness. Industrial film evaporation and short-path distillation
For film and short-path evaporators, selecting the appropriate scraper system is crucial. The scraper system must ensure a uniform liquid film distribution and adequate stirring on the inner wall of the heated evaporator jacket to achieve high evaporation efficiency and minimal residence time. Choosing the right scraper system is the accumulation of extensive experience, from laboratory-scale experiments to pilot plant trials, as well as the design of numerous industrial units. VTA offers a variety of scraper systems, providing solutions for product separation.
Film evaporators and short-path/molecular distillation units are primarily used for product purification, concentration, solvent recovery, removal of free monomers, improvement of product color, and drying.
A typical project process includes the following steps:

Based on small-scale and pilot process development, VTA can offer a full turnkey plant with process assurance, supplied in a modular concept. The customer only needs to provide the site and utility connections; the rest is handled by VTA alone. Truly bringing convenience and assurance to the users.
The main mechanical components of the equipment are produced at VTA's facility in Niederwinkling, Germany, and at the STREICHER Group's location in Deggendorf. The process development, design, and manufacturing departments of VTA are in close proximity, facilitating close collaboration and enabling VTA to rapidly respond to customer demands, including during the production stage.
These distillation units are used for purification, concentration, removal of low-boiling-point substances, color improvement, and material drying in various application fields. The membrane evaporators can also serve as reboilers for rectification columns. Their applications include chemical, agrochemical, polymer, and food industries, among others.
