The dog food production line in pet feed equipment utilizes powder as raw material: mainly consisting of corn flour, wheat flour, and various grain starch components, supplemented with meat, protein, grass, and fat powders, along with various flavorings and preservative extenders. There is no need to pre-cook the raw materials; simply grinding them into powder is sufficient, with a particle fineness greater than 60 mesh.
The dog food production line consists of 6 units: a blending machine, a feeding machine, a puffing machine, a blower, a multi-layer drying machine, and an oiling and flavoring machine.
1. Blender: Corn flour, rice flour, bean flour, fish meal, meat meal, rice bran, additives, and other raw materials. Thoroughly mixed with a certain proportion of water.
The Feeding Machine: Driven by an electric motor, it delivers the well-mixed material into the feeding hopper of the twin-screw extruder. The equipment features convenient and quick feeding with reduced effort.
3. Twin-Screw Extruder: Under the high-temperature and high-pressure environment of mixing raw materials and the action of twin-screw extrusion, the starch structure in the raw materials changes into easily absorbable nutrients. The feed material is extruded through the feeding mold, and the size and length of the feed particles are regulated by adjusting the speed of the rotating cutting motor. Specific particle size and shape can be obtained by changing the mold. The motor's current and speed can be directly observed on the inverter panel, ensuring the equipment.
4. Blower: Transports the produced feed particles to the multi-layer drying equipment.
5. Multi-layer Dog Food Drying Oven: The temperature is controlled between 0-200 degrees Celsius by the control cabinet. The dryer features a stainless steel belt conveyor for stable feeding with low failure rate. The feed pellets are circulated through multi-layer S-shaped tracks, dried to the desired moisture content by the pet feed drying machine, which extends the shelf life.
6. Spray Flavoring Line: Spray machines, attractants, etc. The flavoring tanks include an eight-sided tank, cylinder, single-lift tank, and double-tank flavoring line. Depending on the product characteristics and quantity, oil is sprayed onto the feed surface, along with minced meat and spices, and evenly coated. This process also removes burrs and rough edges from the feed particles, resulting in a smoother surface.
