The Duwan Environmental Double-Curved Agitator impeller has a surface formed by the rotation of the double-curved generatrix around the axis of the impeller body. Its unique impeller structure design combines fluid characteristics with mechanical motion to a great extent. The equation of the hyperbola isThe xy=b curve forms a surface solid as it rotates around the y-axis; to accommodate water flow, the design draws water in from the center of the impeller, which reduces the turbulence of the incoming water and ensures uniform pressure on the impeller surface, thereby maintaining the overall balance of the machine during operation. There are eight guide vanes evenly distributed on the involute double arcs, utilizing the potential energy gained from the additional water obtained by the liquid's own weight pressure to form kinetic energy along with the centrifugal force generated by the impeller's rotation. Under the influence of gravity acceleration, the liquid moves tangentially along the impeller circumference through the double-surface structure, forming a cyclic water flow from top to bottom due to the reflection from the pool wall, thus achieving cross-flow in both the axial (y) and radial (x) directions (as shown in Figures 1 and 2). It is due to the structural characteristics of the vertical blade impeller and its installation near the bottom of the pool that its working position determines a direct anti-settling effect on suspended particles, achieving an ideal mixing effect during operation and effectively eliminating dead mixing spots. A large specific surface area allows for a large-scale water exchange.
