Generally speaking, the term "track" commonly refers to the running tracks found in schools and sports fields at various levels, which are categorized into standard and non-standard tracks. A standard track measures 400 meters in circumference with a radius of 36.5 meters (with other options of 36 meters and 37.898 meters), while a non-standard track is adjusted according to the area, shape, and size of the playground, appropriately modifying the radius and circumference. Common non-standard tracks include those with circumferences of 200 meters and 300 meters, etc.
1. Basic Inspection:
Upon entering the site, first establish a benchmark elevation point and then re-inspect and record the site's slope and elevation (measure the thickness after the rubber surface has been laid).
b. Flatness Inspection: The flatness inspection is conducted using the watering method. The entire site is watered using a garden hose, ensuring thorough watering at a slow, steady pace, without forceful冲洗. After the water level stabilizes, mark the area with chalk. Once the accumulated water dries, use chloroprene rubber emulsion aggregates for repairs, continuing until there is no waterlogging.
2. Pilot Laying: After the basic inspections have been confirmed to meet the requirements, proper records are made, and a 2-3 square meters of 1×1m area is selected for pilot laying. (Purpose: to check the quality of raw materials, and to determine the mixture ratio and curing time of the laying materials based on the specific conditions on the construction site, such as temperature, air humidity, and ground moisture content). The pilot laying will be approved by both parties after inspection, and then full construction can be prepared.
3. Preparations Prior to the Official Laying
a. Based on staffing and weather conditions, determine the area that can be paved for each work section. Plan the entire construction area accordingly, taking into account the paved area for each section. Prepare thoroughly with these two conditions in mind, including machinery placement, material mixing, staff allocation, material delivery routes, and progress scheduling.
b. To ensure the quality and craftsmanship of the installation, an additional quality inspector and a re-inspector are assigned to each process, in addition to the standard personnel.
4. To minimize construction joints and ensure a smooth and aesthetically pleasing surface, we have staffed with over 18 people. They lay 1200-1500 m² of area per day, striving for seamless transitions at the four straight and curved segments of the athletic track.
After two days of latex coating, once the required quality is met, the laying of the adhesive begins. The first layer consists of a mixed polyurethane, containing ≤30% recycled rubber crumb, with crumb size between 18#-22#, and a thickness of 9mm. After the mixed polyurethane layer is laid and inspected for no bubbling, delamination, or looseness, a layer of su-102 adhesive is applied as a surface treatment, which has a bonding effect, enabling the coated surface to produce fine pores and ensuring a stronger bond with the underlying layer. Once the su-102 adhesive surface treatment is complete, a 2.5-2.8mm full plastic polyurethane adhesive slurry is spread. When the slurry solidifies into a stringy state, the adhesive granules are sprinkled, and after completing this step, a particle sweeper is used to clean the surface of any excess adhesive granules.
6. Check the moisture-proof base coating after 1-2 days (24-72 hours), and once confirmed to meet the requirements, commence with the formal adhesive laying process.
