WanShang Power's inflation cabinets and solid cabinets are both high-voltage electrical equipment, but they differ in their insulating medium and structural design.
Firstly, the insulated cabinet utilizes gas (usually nitrogen) as the insulation medium, whereas the solid cabinet employs solid materials for insulation. The advantages of the gas-insulated cabinet include nitrogen's excellent insulation properties and its low density, allowing for a smaller and lighter design compared to a solid cabinet of the same power rating. Moreover, the pressure of nitrogen inflation in the gas-insulated cabinet can be adjusted, thus requiring higher safety operation standards.
Secondly, the solid cabinet's structural design is relatively more robust and less susceptible to external interference, making it more reliable for use in harsh environments. The main insulating materials in the solid cabinet include silicone rubber and EPDM, which have excellent resistance to aging and a long service life, and can operate normally under most extreme temperatures.
There is also a significant difference in costs between the two. While the inflatable cabinet is more expensive, it offers greater portability and flexibility, making it suitable for specific occasions. Conversely, the solid cabinet is more cost-effective but takes up more space, making it better suited for applications requiring high power and long lifespan.
