1) Soil Cultivation: The soil should be loose, well-drained, but also retain moisture, with a neutral or slightly acidic pH.
2) Transplanting and Planting: It is generally best to do so during the recovery period immediately following the end of the plant's dormancy. Root pruning should be done prior to planting. After pruning, allow the roots to dry for a few days before planting them in moist potting soil. Once planted, shade the plants appropriately and do not rush to water them. Avoid fertilizing within the first month.
3) Temperature and Light Adjustment: Cacti and succulents generally prefer warm conditions with a significant diurnal temperature range. For epiphytic cacti and species of the genus Aloe, good light is necessary but should be soft.
4) Irrigation and Fertilization: Watering should be based on the plant's growth stage. For species that enter dormancy in winter or summer, stop watering during the dormancy period. However, for summer-dormant species, water them in walkways to maintain humidity, while ensuring the water needs of vigorous-growing plants are met.
