The advantages of water air conditioners mainly include the following aspects:
One, low price and low power consumption. Due to the absence of the outdoor compressor part like in typical air conditioners, and the power consumption being only 1/10 to 1/25 of a standard air conditioner, water air conditioning is a more economical and practical choice.
Two, pollution-free and noiseless. Water air conditioning does not use Freon as a refrigerant, resulting in no chemical pollution or emissions of waste gas and heat. Therefore, it does not produce substances that pollute nature. Additionally, water air conditioning utilizes a gas-water separator to completely eliminate the noise from the water flow inside the air conditioner.
Comfortable and healthy. Moderate dehumidification avoids excessive dryness, maintaining a relative humidity of 60-65% for the most comfortable level for humans, overcoming the flaw of excessive dryness in Freon air conditioners, and reducing the occurrence of air conditioning-related illnesses.
Of course, besides its advantages, there are some drawbacks to using water air conditioning:
One: Water air conditioners do not cool as effectively as traditional air conditioners. Generally, these units can only lower the indoor temperature slightly below 30 degrees, making them unsuitable for areas with strict temperature requirements.
Two, it will increase the relative humidity of the air. After passing through the water curtain, the air humidity will increase to some extent, and it is not suitable for places with strict humidity requirements. Currently, it is only applied in factories, shopping malls, supermarkets, or some residential areas that do not have high requirements for temperature and humidity.
