Buoyant floats, made through blow molding, can float on the water surface. They are constructed from sturdy high molecular weight polyethylene and other materials, offering excellent weather resistance and shock resistance, as well as protection against UV rays, frost, and chemical agents from seawater and oil stains. They can automatically rise and fall with the tide. They are widely used in the construction of floating bridges, floating docks, and other waterborne floating platform projects. Another type of float is a sealed metal cylinder floating on the water, anchored at the bottom with an iron anchor, used for mooring boats or serving as navigational beacons.
