According to the definition in GJB434A--98 "Deception Terminology," two key points need to be emphasized.
The optical camouflage (0.3~1.2μm) encompasses three bands: ultraviolet camouflage (0.3~0.38μm), visible light camouflage (0.38~0.76μm), and near-infrared camouflage (0.76~1.2μm). Therefore, optical camouflage nets must meet the requirements for ultraviolet, visible light, and near-infrared camouflage, which means they can counteract ultraviolet, visible light, and near-infrared detection.
Secondly, in terms of standards, a UV camouflage net refers to camouflage materials with a whiteness and UV (0.3-0.38μm) reflective characteristic similar to a snowy background, capable of countering UV, visible light, and near-infrared detection. Therefore, the UV camouflage net is an optical camouflage that emphasizes the snowy background and UV reflective properties, commonly known as the snowy net.
