Quick-hardening cement is a shortened form of "quick-hardening silicate cement." It is a hydraulically binding material that increases in initial strength rapidly. It contains more tricalcium silicate and tricalcium aluminate than common cement. It is characterized by rapid setting and high initial strength. The initial setting time of quick-hardening cement should not be earlier than 45 minutes, and the final setting time should not be later than 10 hours. It is mainly used for emergency repairs, military projects, pre-stressed reinforced concrete components, and the preparation of dry concrete.
