Quick-hardening cement is a shortened term for "rapid-hardening silicate cement," a type of hydraulic binding material with a rapid rate of strength gain in the early stages. It contains more tricalcium silicate and tetracalcium aluminum ferrite than common cement. It is characterized by rapid hardening and high early strength. The initial setting time of quick-hardening cement should not be earlier than 45 minutes, and the final setting time should not be later than 10 hours. It is mainly used for emergency repairs, military projects, pre-stressed reinforced concrete products, and the preparation of dry concrete.
