Quick-hard cement is a short name for "quick-hard silicate cement," a hydrous cementing material with a rapid increase in early strength. It contains higher amounts of tricalcium silicate and tetracalcium aluminoferrite than common cement. It is characterized by rapid hardening and high early strength. The initial setting time of quick-hard cement must not be earlier than 45 minutes, and the final setting time must not be later than 10 hours. It is mainly used for emergency repairs, military projects, pre-stressed reinforced concrete components, and the preparation of dry concrete.
