Quick-hard cement is an abbreviation for "Quick-hard silicate cement," a hydraulic binder material with a rapid increase in early strength. It contains higher amounts of tricalcium silicate and tetracalcium aluminoferrite than common cement. It is characterized by fast hardening and high early strength. The initial setting time of quick-hard cement should not be earlier than 45 minutes, and the final setting time should not be later than 10 hours. It is mainly used for emergency repair projects, military projects, prestressed reinforced concrete components, and the preparation of dry concrete.
