Quick-hardening cement is a shortened term for "rapid-hardening silicate cement," a hydraulic binding material with a rapid increase in initial strength. It contains more tricalcium silicate and tricalcium aluminate than common cement. It features rapid hardening and high initial strength. The initial setting time of quick-hardening cement should not be earlier than 45 minutes, and the final setting time should not be later than 10 hours. It is mainly used for emergency repairs, military projects, pre-stressed reinforced concrete components, and the preparation of dry concrete.
