Wire rope mesh, primarily composed of high-tensile wire rope flexible mesh (diamond wire rope mesh, circular mesh, high-tensile steel wire mesh), is supplemented by accessories such as anchor rods and support ropes to form the entire system. It is used to prevent and control hazards such as rock falls, rolling, and flying debris on slopes through covering and securing the slope surface.
Uniformly distributed around to fully utilize the entire system's protective capabilities, meaning local loading with overall effect, enabling the system to bear greater loads and reduce the anchoring force requirements for individual anchor rods. Additionally, due to the system's openness, groundwater can freely drain, avoiding instability issues on the slope caused by increased groundwater pressure; apart from contributing to slope stability, the system also inhibits further weathering and erosion of the slope, with no special requirements for the slope's morphological characteristics. It does not disrupt or alter the original landform and vegetation growth conditions on the slope, preserving necessary conditions for subsequent or future artificial slope greening when conditions are met and necessary.
