SAIC Logistics, a logistics service provider and subsidiary of China's automaker SAIC Motor, is planning to construct seven multi-fuel car carrier vessels.
Anji Logistics is seeking shipyards to construct seven vessels in two phases. The first three are expected to be delivered before October 2025, with one ship by March 2026 and two by the same month. In the second phase, two of the four ships will be delivered in November 2025, with the remaining two ships scheduled for delivery in March 2026.
As the automotive transportation market continues to grow, Anji Logistics has ordered three 7,800 and two 7,600-unit liquefied natural gas carrier vessels from Jiangnan Shipyard.
Anji Logistics currently operates China's largest independently-owned fleet of car carriers, including 12 vessels for inland transport and 19 for oceanic voyages.
