Skylights, as natural ventilation and lighting equipment for industrial factories, require rainproof treatment, which is particularly important. With the extensive use of daylighting, ensuring that ventilation and lighting skylights do not leak rain during the design process is a critical factor for manufacturers. Preventing the intrusion of rain and snow is the basic requirement. Our company has conducted in-depth research and exploration into the rainproof performance of exhaust vents through long-term production practice. We have made multiple structural optimizations and improvements, strengthened the rain挡板、outer protective panels, and standardized the manufacturing construction of the water shedding boards to ensure the equipment's rainproof performance. Additionally, we have appropriately increased the number of inclined drainage channels to ensure that heavy rainwater can be quickly drained through the outer protective panels.
Standardized installation of outer panels, rain guards, and coping boards is crucial for ensuring the wind vent's rainproof capability.
(1) Position the boards according to the design drawings. Generally, the starting point for installation should be the opposite direction of the annual frequency wind.
(2) Once the installation direction is confirmed, first install and secure the edge seal board, then place and secure the panel, ensuring it is perpendicular to the rafters.
(3) During installation, the panels should overlap the raised edges of the block panels. The five-type ventilation skylights are inspected to ensure that the outer edges of the two panels are fully in contact and straight, guaranteeing a perfect overlap. They are then connected to the rafters with self-tapping screws equipped with sealing rings.
(4) The steel plate is secured to the C purlins using self-tapping galvanized screws.
(5) The stability and reliability are directly related to the number and spacing of the connectors, as well as the quality of the connections. Proper installation of waterproof sealing materials is necessary to ensure that there is no leakage or water seepage between the panels.
