Printing machines often encounter various issues during operation, frequently causing damage to components and frequent electrical failures. Some attribute it to the age of the machine. While aging is indeed an objective cause, do new machines never experience problems? Some printing plants report more issues with new machines than with older ones.
Objectively speaking, the usage and failure rates of machines are influenced by the following factors: the manufacturing quality of the printing machine, installation and debugging, maintenance, proper operation, and most importantly, the quality of repair. The quality of the machine is inherently objective from the time of its manufacture, whether it's a new or an old machine, the assembly and debugging process is a crucial step.
Generally, new machines are fully installed and debugged at the factory, quality inspected, and then transported in disassembled packaging. It's not just about the proper and rational installation; there's also the matter of inspection and calibration. The same goes for old machines. As for maintenance and use, there's no need to elaborate. I'd like to talk about the quality of repairs instead.
Repair is not just about disassembly and reassembly; it requires identifying the root cause of the malfunction, as well as any related issues it may bring along.
Printers have stringent time coordination, assembly tolerances, and adjustment values. Blind disassembly and excessive adjustments are the primary causes of accelerated wear and recurrent malfunctions.
Component procurement and processing quality must not compromise. All parts and electrical components must use OEM parts. Printer factory accessories are expensive and have a long procurement cycle, unless they are critical or key components. For other parts and most electrical components, substitutes can be used as long as the processing technology of the parts and the characteristics of the components are understood.
Circuit failures are primarily due to hidden issues or failures arising from improper disassembly and installation, rather than natural damage to the equipment. Additionally, they can stem from the failure to identify the machines or human factors causing the circuit failures.
