Low-voltage control cables are commonly used in control lines for instruments and meters, conveyance, firefighting, computers, water pumps, low-voltage systems, street lighting, intrinsically safe circuits, and servo circuits. For integrated circuits, microcomputer protection, and control cables for current, voltage, and signal connection points, shielded cables should be selected.
Voltage levels are 450V/750V low voltage. Control cables are selected with different specifications based on the application scenario. 3) The shielding selection for the signal loop control cable of the computer monitoring system should comply with the following regulations:
Switched quantity signals can be selected with overall shielding.
② High-level analog signals are best suited for a total shielded twisted-pair core, while a selectively shielded twisted-pair core can also be chosen when necessary.
Low-level analog signals or pulse signals are best suited for individually shielded twisted-pair cores. Optionally, a composite overall shielding can also be used for twisted-pair cores when necessary.
4) In other cases, the appropriate shielding type should be selected based on factors such as electromagnetic induction, electrostatic induction, and ground potential rise.
5) When cables are equipped with steel armor and metallic sheath, their shielding function should be fully utilized.
