The electrical and mechanical installation construction covers five major divisions, with complex content. Only when the pre-construction preparation is well-executed can the project proceed in an orderly manner. Below, we'll examine the processes that the construction unit must carry out upon entering the site, through the case study of an installation project.
The electromechanical installation program should be determined based on the expansion direction of each unit project within the construction project and the construction process of each unit project.
I. Principles for Determining Construction Procedures
As the project management department of the general contractor, the following points should be considered when determining the stage-by-stage construction process: under the premise of ensuring the construction timeline, implement stage-by-stage construction, coordinate the arrangement of each unit's construction work, prioritize key aspects while considering others, ensuring the project is commissioned on schedule.
For auxiliary projects with small engineering quantities, moderate difficulty, short durations, and non-urgent use in construction projects, consider coordinating them with the main production workshop engineering to balance the construction process. All projects should be scheduled according to the principle of underground first, then above ground; deep first, shallow second; trunk line before branch lines. Factors such as the impact of the season on construction should also be taken into account.
The general division of the electrical and mechanical installation construction stage can be roughly categorized into the preparation stage, the construction stage, and the handover, acceptance, and commissioning stage.
1. Pre-construction Phase: The pre-construction phase is the critical stage for creating the necessary conditions for the start of the unit project. Generally, the following conditions must be met: construction permits are obtained; construction drawings have been reviewed; construction budgets are prepared; construction organization designs are approved and have been communicated; temporary construction facilities are set up according to the general layout plan and can basically meet the needs for construction and living after the start; materials and engineering equipment are appropriately stored and can be sequentially delivered to the site; construction machinery and equipment are on-site and can ensure normal operation; labor plans are in place and necessary technical safety and fire prevention education has been conducted, allowing for immediate mobilization; the main civil engineering work is completed, the processes for coordinating with the pre-buried and reserved pipelines and components of the installation work are finished, and the conditions for handing over for installation construction are met.
2. Construction Phase: Construction must be organized in accordance with the requirements of the construction organization design, construction plans, construction drawings, and technical documents. It should follow the established construction procedures and gradually evolve from the peak installation phase to the completion of integrated debugging and no-load trial operation.
3. Completion and Acceptance Phase: (including civil engineering, installation, and decoration) After all work is fully completed, the responsible parties conduct internal pre-acceptance. The construction unit organizes the design, supervision, and relevant construction parties for the handover acceptance. Upon inspection and confirmation of compliance, the handover acceptance procedures and related matters are processed.
