Lighting CE Certification Process:
Technical Documentation Required for CE Certification:
Standard electronic equipment products only require samples, manuals, and circuit diagrams. Wireless products need to provide an additional PCB board diagram, product frame diagram (frame diagram is confidential), and BOM list.
Luminaire CE Certification Application Process:
Initial Consultation -- Evaluate Quotation -- Both Parties Sign Certification Contract -- Fill Out Certification Application Form -- Arrange Initial Payment — Provide Samples and Relevant Technical Documents — Huanceshiwei Lab Tests the Samples — Issue Certificate Confirmation After Passing (if the product fails, it requires rectification and retesting) — Arrange Final Payment — Send Original Certificate
Lighting CE Certification Issuance Time
Standard products typically receive certification within 5 business days, while wireless products require approximately 20 business days and necessitate CE & RTTE certification.
For the European market, the European Commission notes that LED lighting and similar products sold in Europe must bear the CE marking (which requires compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC).
To obtain CE certification for lighting fixtures, two CE tests are required: CE-EMC and CE-LVD.
[Tested for DC voltage above 75V and AC voltage above 50V; tested for both EMC and LVD]
Product standards vary according to the type of CE products; common product standards are as follows:
Lighting standards are EN55015, EN61574, EN60598; the energy-saving bulb LVD standard is EN60968.
