As the development of the Saudi Product Safety Program (SALEEM) progresses, SASO has implemented an electronic platform called SABER for compliance assessments. SASO encourages the use of this platform to apply for and obtain product and batch certificates for goods covered by SASO technical regulations, as well as for self-declarations and batch certificates for any goods not included in SASO technical regulations.
What is the SABER Certification?
The SABER certification refers to the compliance assessment program for non-local Saudi enterprises (i.e., companies exporting to Saudi Arabia). Therefore, for Chinese exporting companies, the focus should be on the SABER certification program.
