The requirement for customs clearance at the port of destination was officially implemented on September 1, 2018.
Ivory Coast PVOC inspections can be conducted in three methods:
Shipment Inspection and Certification, also known as the one-time model.
2. Application for Product Registration and Shipment Certification, valid for one year.
3. Factory applies for product licensing and shipment certification, valid for one year and only available for manufacturers to apply.

1. Exporters submit a fully completed Request for Certificate Form (RFC), which should detail the product information and provide quality documents such as test reports, technical specifications, and quality management system certificates (if applicable); along with the INVOICE and packing list.
2. The inspection agency determines feasible implementation plans and applicable standards under the planned program.
3. For testing purposes, the laboratory of an inspection agency can be utilized; the agency will coordinate sampling and conduct the laboratory tests.
4. On-site inspections will be conducted by the inspection agency's office nearest to the inspection location after the aforementioned steps are completed, with all costs borne by the applicant.
5. After the inspection is completed, the exporter submits the final documents (Invoice and Packing List) to the inspection agency.
