Damping soundproofing board - Application Range

Primarily used in construction, bars, KTVs, slow dance clubs, hotels, cinemas, stadiums, opera houses, home theaters, multi-functional halls, offices, factories, meeting rooms, and exhibition halls, etc., where noise reduction is required.

Damping soundproofing panel ceiling installation method:

1. Firstly, install spring vibration dampers (isolators) on the ceiling, approximately 2 per square meter. One end of the isolator connects to the ceiling, while the other end attaches to the light steel stud (since the ceiling needs to bear heavier objects, wrap soundproofing felt around the area where the stud contacts the surrounding walls to avoid rigid connections).

2. Fill the space between the ribs with eco-friendly sound-absorbing cotton.

3. Seal the soundproofing felt, then cover it with a damping soundproofing panel (first bond the felt and panel with adhesive, with the felt extending beyond the panel all around. Some extra length is for overlap. Secure the felt and damping panel composite to the stud with self-tapping screws).

4. Seal gaps between soundproofing panels and between soundproofing panels and floors with a special building sealant.

Wall Installation Method:

1. Original wall surface cleaned and installed with wood studs, spaced approximately 600mm apart (soundproofing felt wrapped around the studs' interior to prevent rigid connections).

2. Filled with eco-friendly sound-absorbing cotton in the batten gaps.

3. Apply soundproofing mat, then seal with a layer of damping fire-resistant soundproof board (first glue the soundproof mat to the board, allowing the mat to overlap slightly around the board for seam fitting). Secure the soundproofing mat and damping board assembly to the stud with self-tapping screws.
