Damping and soundproofing board - Application Range

Primarily used in industries such as construction, bars, KTVs, slow-dance clubs, hotels, cinemas, stadiums, opera houses, home theaters, multi-functional halls, offices, factories, meeting rooms, and exhibition halls where noise reduction is required.

【Damping Soundproofing Panel】Ceiling Installation Method:

1. First, install spring vibration dampers (vibration absorbers) on the ceiling, approximately 2 per square meter. One end of the damper is connected to the ceiling, and the other end to the light steel frame (since the ceiling needs to bear heavier objects, wrap sound-insulating felt around the points where the frame contacts the surrounding walls to avoid rigid connections).

2. Fill the space between the ribs with eco-friendly sound-absorbing cotton.

3. Seal the soundproofing felt, followed by a layer of damping soundproof board (first glue the felt and board together, with the felt extending beyond the board on all sides for overlap. Use self-tapping screws to attach the composite of the felt and damping soundproof board to the stud frame.

4. Seal the gaps between the soundproof panels and between the soundproof panels and the floor with a special building sealant.

Wall Mounting Instructions:

1. Clean the existing wall and install wood studs, with spacing of approximately 600mm between the studs (the inside of the studs are wrapped with soundproofing felt to prevent rigid connections).

2. The rib cavity is filled with environmentally friendly sound-absorbing cotton.

3. Apply soundproofing felt, then seal with a damping fireproof soundproof panel (first bond the felt and panel with adhesive, allowing the felt to overhang the panel for overlap). Secure the felt and damping panel assembly to the frame with self-tapping screws.
